Default 1800SR spark plug removal

I have a Maxum 1800SR with a mercruiser 4.3L V6.
First time changing spark plugs and can not reach back ones.
Do I need to remove the back of the cabin to reach them?
How does anyone who had one of these boats get to them?
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Is there access on either side? May need to remove the battery and reach in that way.
