What is this under the engine?

Hi All, newbie here.

Looks like a raised block under the engine, on the floor of the boat. Also like it was glued in place. While feeling around underneath, it came off.

Does anyone know what this is?

Looks like a pad for the bilge pump float. Common to have the float elevated.

Thanks, that makes me feel better. I just got the boat a couple weeks ago, took it out a couple times. Thought it was something serious when it seemed to break off.

Was about to change starter and noticed it.
