Default What is the corect drive and prop size for a 1994 2700 7.4

Hello bought my boat without the drive. I know that the boat had a Bravo II outdrive on it but I am not sure what the gear ratio was, or the correct prop size. Thank You !!! Sorry placed this in wrong forum>>> How can I delete this ?

Jobie....I've moved this one to engines since it is about engines and drives.....putting it in the for sale/buy/trade thread is inconsistant since your not buying or selling....

first off....get the HIN number on the hull/stbd/aft ....it's imbossed into the gelcoat..2nd call US marine...in the general thread I there is a contact information for usmarine(not the US Marines...they get upset when people call them asking about a maxum boats..they have a tendancy to bomb ya)...

anyway...USMARINE will research the number and tell you what drive and gear ratio and they can send you the owners manual also...

This might help if you can get your serial number.

On my 90', the drives serial number is on the flame arrestor cover like this....

The mercury marine prop selector tool shows a 3 blade 17.5" 23p.

The factory installed prop was a 17 3/4 X 21.
