What is Fuel burn rate for a Mercruiser 5.0

I know this is highly variable, but how many gallons per hour do people report on their Mercruiser 5.0?

I have a 30 gallon tank, and I'm trying to figure how many hours on the water between launchings I can get.

Operating at 3000-3300 rpm I would expect the burn rate to be 8-10 gallons per hour.
