Default Torq Specs

I just removed and reinstalled my exhaust elbows for an inspection of elbows and manifolds!
I know that the torq specs for the elbows is 20 ftlbs, but is that a cold spec or do I start engine and let it warm up and retorq them?
Its a 1995 mercruiser 5.7 a1g2!
As alway any and all help would be great!

Don I never herd of a cold or warm torque but I have herd of wet and dry. The manual under Documents will tell you.

Now I have herd of retorquing after a heat cycle, running the engine.

Thanks Mike!
The manual I have only states that the spec it 20 ft.lbs.
In the dark ages we used to retorq after running engine up to operating temp!
So I guess I wont retorq those bolts!
I have not done any engine work in many years!

Yea I still re-torque after a heat cycle (cold - operating temp - cold).

That what I was thinking!(cold-operating temp-cold) could not put the right words down on paper!
I guess my brain is going just like everything else!

I torque them a little above spec and never touch them again until I need to.
