Default TKS systems

I bought a new boat last fall that has a 5.0L TKS (turn key start) system on it. I have not noticed any different in starting with this system verses my old carburated engine. Do any of you have this system and have you noticed that it is any different to start.

yeah...my new boat has this...all I do is turn the key till the alarm stops...then hit the starter...she fires right up and will idle verrrrrry nicely....very smooth....just don't hit the throttle till it's warmed up a bit...if yours isn't working like that..then there is and issue with the mpi system..

Is the turn key supposed to do that everytime .. Mine will do it when the boat is cold thats it, once it is warmed up and i start it, it will idle at 500 or so till i put it in gear.. Also, does the key alarm stay on until you start it.. Mine will stay on forever if i dont start the motor...

mine just goes on for about 3 seconds and then shuts off..you can hear the fuel pump charge up and then hit the starter...fires right up....
