Default Tachometer gauge verification

I own a year 2000, 3700SCR. I was wondering if there is a gauge or meter or other instrument which can be used to verify if the tachometers on my boat are accurately reflecting the RPM's of the engines. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Buy an auto tach/dewel meter to verify yours.
