Default starboard manifold running hot...

Hello,
The starboard manifold on my mercruiser 5.7L V8 bravoIII drive engine runs hot to touch and the port side is cold to touch after running for about 45min. The temp gauge reads 175 and doesn't over heat... is this normal??

nick get a handheld IR temp sensor and get real measurements on the manifolds. The helm gauge is reading the output of the engine which is prior to the manifolds.

There should not be a big delta between the 2 sides.

The engine should be 160 and the manifolds should be less, I would say between 100 and 120.
