Default repower (from small leak}

I had a leak in the transom and had to pull the engine to fix it . apparently I didn't properly winterize . My 3 year old engine block was cracked . also the inner transom was not perfectly flat so the plate was broken . I decided to remove and reinstall everything . I re fiberglased the inner transom , purchased a reman 5.7 from Michigan Motors . I am now ready to start installation .

How about your motor .What's happening there ? There were many problems with the shabby installation M & M did .No grounds were connected to the OD , they put large washers between the transom plate and transom . There was another crack in the block in the galley across the # 4 piston . I found the fuel pump leaking and had to buy a new one . I am in at about 5 grand now . Imagine if I had to pay to have this done .

Been waiting for the closed cooling kit I ordered. Hoping to install the new engine in the next week.

I was surprised to hear your transom needed work, fortunately mine is fine.

Will do, it's a MC320 Saun Jaun engineering. Hoping to get the engine in soon.

When you post in the text box there is a paper clip symbol that allows you to select and attach pictures.
