speed
the problem is that you have to stay within your WOT as prescibed by the factory......your WOT (aka wide open throttle) is about 4200 to 4800rpms...so your right in the middle of your max rpm..so if you change the pitch 1 inch deeper..your going to be right at the bottom end of your wot....
but here's a thought..depending on where you boat..a stainless steel prop would actually give you better speed due to less flex..however if you hit anything...all the energy goes right into the drive rather than letting the prop bend or break like an aluminum prop would do...the outdrive could be seriously damaged......
plus's and minus's on everything......
you can also go to a 4 bladed hiperformance prop..gives better bite but might loose a little on the take off....but your top end may improve depending on the pitch that you get....
good luck....
