Unhappy Prop noise

Hello & please help (2002 2700SCR 6.2 MPI Bravo III).

I asked this question before but didn't explain it correctly. I have a sound like a barnacle or sand is stuck between the 2 propellers. It's a slight rubbing or scraping sound. I can hear it when in gear or if I turn the motor off and spin the props by hand. I have to take her out a short distance to get a final pumpout.

Is this a problem? Any ideas on the sound?

Will I be B.O.A.T?

Cool prop

pull the props and see if you see anything.I would turn the shaft with the props off nut on and see if there is any grinding or bearing noise.good time to lube the shaft anyway????

you have a problem and need to have a tech look at it..the props should turn and not touch..so any scraping or making noise down there makes me think the shims have warn down to the point of the props touching...

Will it be a problem to take a short run for a pumpout?
