Prop Change

Hello, new to the forum and hoping for some advice.

I am running a 21' Alloys 3 blade on a mercruiser 3,0 (alpha1). I have been given a 21' 5 blade s/s High Five.

is this a good fit for my boat, I am looking for a bit more punch in acceleration

Welcome aboard.

A SS prop is heavier and WOT will suffer also adding blades is more drag which also impacts WOT. IMO that seems like a lot of prop for a 3.0 to turn and acceleration will suffer but since it was given to you no harm in trying it.
