Default Oil pressure

Hi everyone just bought my first boat a 2000 maxum 23 sc with. 7.4 noticed last night oil pressure is running around 75 at 3500 rpm and 65 at idle is this normal should I be worried the gage only goes to 80 th als for the help

Welcome aboard.

Yes it’s normal for the oil pressure to be lower at lower rpm. Your oil pressure is actually on the high side as what you are getting at idle is typically what one gets at 3400 rpm.
