Default Oil Change

I have a 05 Maxum 1800 MX
3.0 engine

the oil drain comes out of the plug hole. im pulling on it but it does not come out.

is there a trick to getting it out?

There's a wire lead on the plug at the end of the hose. The wire needs to go out of the hole first. If wire doesn't go out first then it lays down on the drain hose and makes it too large to pull thru the hole. You may need to get it started from inside the boat, then pull the wire through the hole with needle nose pliers.

Get an oil change pump and suck it out of the dipstick tube. Those drain hoses take forever to drain.
