Default new carb time

Hello everyone, quick question about should i replace a carb that has been rebuilt two times or buy a new Merc carb or go different brand, The 5.7l 350 260 hp 2bbl Merc carb is on now. runs horribly. thanks

Are you certain the carburetor is the issue? Not sure brand new carburetors exist as they are based on automotive ones which haven’t been manufactured for a very long time.

Go to www.i-5automotive.com. they have rebuilt merc carb 2 barrel for around $350. New mercury carbs are $850. But you got another problems. First find someone who knows how to rebuild a carb or your gas is being contaminated some how.
