Default my engine will not start

Hi Guys , I am new to all this so i hope you can help .I have a Maxum Ski Max ,1998 ,350 mercruiser magnum . We launched it the other day ,it started as usual ,set off to leave the marina ,stated to misfire and stop .Checked the plugs and no spark ,replaced the plugs, cleaned the rotor arm and distributor cap,Still no spark . Changed the ignition coil ,still no spark ( power to coil ,no spark from ht lead ) . Not sure if there is a ignition cut out for any reason ??? Suspect ignition modual near distributor or open to any /all suggestions .Thanks for your help Andy

Kill switch or neutral safety switch? Just some of the often easily overlooked things...

first off...welcome to the zoo....

2nd..definitely check the cut out sw. on or near the throttle....that's the thingy with the rope going to that switch....

it might also be the module......

Given that it first started to mis-fire, then died, I'm going with the module too.
