ok, the good news again.....

the marina who installed my new mainfolds routed the hot battery lead over the y-pipe on the way to the starter, and when i got on plane and the y-pipe got hot, it melted the positive cable and shorted to the Y-pipe.

lucky, it shorted before the starter, and did not burn any small wires.

my insurance company said I can file a claim for "incorrect repairs", and they will investigate the marina.

i was planning on small claims court....

Sea trial last night, and I'm back BABY!

insurance company is now going after the marina, since they paid out $1,000.00 in tow claims.....

Only issues was the gas gauge needle dropping.
