I would keep a check on the exhaust system temps with a IR sensor just to make sure you do not melt another hose. After a few trips you will know if it's good to go.
Can't see them. Reached my arm in the pipe up to my elbow(I'm a little skinny)and couldn't feel anything. I took her out for a half hour or so, temps seem normal...could still touch the manifolds and risers with bare hands. Going to pick up an ir thermometer for the weekend and stay fairly close to home to monitor
Bumping this up from last year just to update you guys. Finally took the out drive off last week; found that pesky exhaust flapper. I think I probably dodged a bullet here...
