Hello. I’m new here . I purchased my maximum 2400 sd in 2002 and love it ! Boat at Lake of the Ozarks Mo. Went to start and it appears electronic issue? Keypad light turns on , as soon as you hit the start button light goes
On next to stop button and nothing happens.
Did you cover the basics ... Battery condition - age / fully charged?
Terminals clean? Wire ends - solid clean connections at battery, ground, and switch?
Not familiar with the electronics package you have, but I assume the blower is on a simple rocker switch. The multiple symptoms you describe make me think low voltage ... enough to light an electronics panel but not do much else.
Unfortunately Voodoo doesn’t support this product anymore. It was a limited production option on small boats for just a few years. I may have the wiring diagram for it but you’ll need to determine how to wire in a keyed ignition switch. You may be able to replace the helm wiring harness with a standard one that supports the keyed ignition switch. I’ll look for it in the next few days when I get time.
