Default Max RPMs

I have a 2800 SCR with a 7.4 Merc and a Bravo 3 outdrive.

All trimmed out and WOT I am at about 5800 rpms and about 33 mph.

With 2 people and full load of fuel and water we get on plane in about 15 seconds.

I am not sure what props I am currently running.

My question is, would it be wise to switch props and get more speed and a lower max RPM?

Being that you’re a 1000 rpm over max WOT I would consider changing props. Try Quicksilvers prop calculator to see what it recommends.
