Ignition Wire Color Code

Made the huge mistake of trying to pull out the ignition and accidentally pulled all wires off without knowing what goes where. Can someone help. I have a 1997 Maxum 1900SR

B terminal is Red/Purple

S terminal is Yello/Red

I terminal is Purple

B = battery
S = start
I = ignition

Do you have an outboard engine or an I/O?

What color are the wires?

Do you mean the ignition switch at the helm or are you refering to the distributor cap wires and have a 4.3l V6? If the latter you are asking for the firing order and all the high tension wires are black?

Im asking for the switch to start the boat with a key

Here is the factory wiring diagram and there is only three wires. Please post picture of your setup.
