Default Ignition switch rubber cover

1999 4100 SCA

As always, great resource Maxum Customer Care made it easy to find the part.

Part number 64916 COVER FOR IGNITION SWITCH

So, that part of the journey was easy ... now the hard part ... how/where do I put that info into in order to find the part for purchase.

Thanks in advance.

Paul have you googled the part number?

Is it a separate part from the ignition switch?

I have Google'd it ... part number doesn't seem to 'narrow' down an array of switch covers ... so far nothing looks like the right part. Not surprising it looks like it's the same part number for Bayliners (same ignition switch too).

The ignition switch itself is a seperate part number.

Yep that’s what I thought it looked like. I would try a Bayliner parts dealer. You can also try Defender or Greatlakesskipper, a phone call to either and you should get help finding one but may need to replace both to get them to match.

Tried searches on Defender and GLS ... no joy. I think I'll walk into a couple of local stores/dealers - if I'm lucky they'll carry something.

Thanks Mike .... not sure why I didn't search their site - fear of sticker shock usually makes them the last place I tend to look
