Default gen 3 cool fuel module replacement

Hi all,

I want to replace me gen 3 cool fuel module on my mx 6.2L mpi bravo 3.
Right now I have the early model which mercruiser wrote it has some issues. (https://www.mercruiserparts.com/bull...2009/EN_01.PDF)
Does anyone has any experience replacing the two? I want to do it by myself.

thanks,
Ori

I went thru that with my 6.2's, my engines were running ok, but on the exhaust cycle I was dumping fuel into my exhaust system, it took me 2 years to figure out the the paint inside the fuel cooling system was peeling off clogging my fuel pressure regulator, I opened them up cleaned and sanded the paint off, replaced the fuel pressure regulator that was clogged, this solved my problem, I also did the same with my other motor to prevent this issue from happening to it. I hope this helps you with your issue. my boat got so much better on fuel efficiency after the repair.
