Hello all. Working on my engine of a 1997 2700 SCR. PO detached the fuel line and it looks like I am missing a threaded piece. What would this be called? It screws into the fuel tank and attaches the gas line. Could anyone post a pic of one correctly attached?

That would be the anti-siphion valve. It has male threads on one end that thread into the threaded block on the tank and the other end is a barber fitting. Inside it has a check valve to prevent fuel from being siphoned back into the tank.
Mike you are correct, my mistake.
I need to pay more attention!
