Painted surfaces inside a fuel module...What were they thinking?

Sounds like a case for a class action suit.

Just spoke to Mercury Marine customer service. Bottom line is they won't do anything because the engine is out of warranty. I pointed out that they have this service bulletin describing yet another potential problem with the cool fuel module, but got nowhere. Wish I knew how many more people were affected ... if it is alot they really should have done a recall. That would really be the responsible thing to do...
