Hi, Scugajt, Welcome Aboard!!! WE certainly encourage your family to join our family as well.

Fuel Pressure?? That is an odd one. The engine should have specs for that fuel pump. I've never seen a fuel pressure guage or specs, though I'm sure they're out there.. We're not talking Oil pressure here, are we? There is a guage for oil pressure.

Maximum rpm @ WOT: 4200-4600
Idle RPM: 600
Oil Pressure @ 2000rpm: 30-70 psi
Min. Oil Pressure @ idle: 4psi

I would expect the average cruise RPM to be somewhere around 3600 rpm.

Thank you Shrew, They are the shy types so I am not sure if they will join.I will be the one here asking questions and trying to learn about there boat.no its not about oil pressure, my son inlaw builds muscle cars so its about specs. there boat runs fine first trip out but as soon as it warms up it starts to bog down like a fuel problem he has changed the fuel filter but no luck it still does it every time out with the boat thats why he wanted to know fuel pressure. is it possible to be vapor locking on a fuel injected motor?
Thank You for the info and help

Ah, well that makes more sense!!!! I appreciate the update. It definitely helps to post the actual problem, that will get the most hits. I'm sure someone on here will be able to chime in and help out.
