Default FUEL LEAK FROM FUEL PUMP

FUEL PUMP LEAK DRIPPING QUITE FAST UNDER THE FUEL PUMP OF THE STARBOARD ENGINE. MARINA REMOVED FROM WATER TODAY DUE TO DANGER BUT CANT LOOK AT THE PROBLEM UNTILL tUESDAY WHERE IS THE SHUT OFF ON A 3200 SCR TO STOP THE DRIP OF FUEL WHICH BY NOW EXCEEDS THE BILGE AREA

there is no cut off valve for the fuel...use a vice grip and clamp down on the hose to stop the leak...

Couldn't you disconnect the fuel line fromthe tank into the pump, raise the line above the tank (gravity) and plug the line? I've used a bolt in the past as well as vise grips and both work fine. I would think the mechanic at the marina would have done this for you when the boat was pulled.

Mine has an oil pressure switch that when disconnected prevents the fuel pump from running.
