Default Fuel Issue, possible flooding

Hey guys, have a 2001 Maxum 2700 SCR with a 6.2 Mercruiser MPI. Engine starts great from cold but after I've taken her out and anchored up for a few hours, she won't start. Sounds like it's flooded and have to really open up the throttle to get it started and running again for a few minutes before engine will idle properly again. Anyone had this issue? Fuel pump, sensor?

Welcome aboard

Sounds like a bad IAC idle air control valve, common issue with MPI. It enriches the air to fuel mixture in place of the choke. However I would expect this would be an issue when cold as well. Could be another sensor so I would have the engine scanned to look for any codes.
