From what I've read, the bravo series was originally rated for 375hp, and the current ones will take 500. Depending on the age of your drive, it may not last long.
Block for block, you shouldn't have any issues with exhaust, clearance, or mounts.
Are you talking about the latest mercruiser engine packages, or just an efi replacement?
Their newer engines require different controls, and have to be installed by a licensed tech.
Since you are going from carb to efi, I imagine there is an electrical nightmare to go with it.
