Default Engine replacement

Hi. I just bought a project boat a 1997 Maxum 2300 s special edition and it needs a new or used Mercruiser-5-7-Inboard-Gas-Engine, I was wondering if anyone on here can guide me in the correct direction as to the best place to purchase this inboard engine and what recommendations can you give me. I am located in Florida.

Doug Russell, Michigan Motors are two popular places folks have used. Are looking for just a long block or a complete engine package?
