Replaced carbs week ago. Fuel water separator. Fuel filter. Spark plugs & oil filter. Took out in lake for first time ran ok. Lil spuddering then eventually stalled while cruising. Starts right back up n goes in gear than will lose power & stall upon acceleration. Only stays driving while in idle no wake zone.
Since it’s starts right back up it sounds like fuel starvation. Have you checked the fuel pressure? Also check to see if the fuel tank vent is clogged.
Replaced all fuel lines. Vent tube filter was fine
just cleaned it. Took apart gas tank found pick up tube had a Lil screen filter shoved inside which was clogged. Removed the screen filter n cleaned tube with carb cleaner. Added stabil to fuel n topped off tank. Goin to lake in bout 39 mins to see if it performs better.
So I fixed the issue. 100% sure it was the clog in pick up tube. Boat runs perfect. Planes fast idles smooth at any rpm. Thanx for the suggestions fellas.
