Default Engine alarm buzzer location
1998 Maxum 2800 SCR. The buzzer is not working, I looked behind the main gauge panel and could not find it. Anyone know where it's located? Thanks

Look again as it’s behind the helm somewhere. Try looking for the tan/blue wire to trace to the alarm.

It can be a bit away from the gauges. On my 3000, buzzers are behind the side storage insert directly below the shifter. Just dangling from the wiring harness.

On my 2900 is was buried down in the wiring harnesses. I think it was almost down in the sidewall so you may have to dig down a bit.

I looked again and found it, just about where it should be. Directly behind the gauges, screwed to a bulkhead. Thanks again for the help.
