Dip Stick for 7.4L

Hey guys,
When installing my refurbished 1994 7.4L (454) Mercruiser, We broke the dipstick by jamming it down too hard. Tried to measure it by hand but I don't know where the official measurements start and end. Also looked online and there are many different answers. If anyone knows what is the proper size dipstick and where to purchase one, please share.

Given your location I'd bet there are a lot of totaled boats with a 7.4l merc. Hit up a salvage yard.
