Depth finder dash gauge

New Maxum boat owner. Just got a 1998 28000 SCR. I can’t really read the digital gauge on the dash for the depth finder. Read out is very faint. Any one replaced this gauge without changing wiring and transducer. If so can you recommend a gauge with a part number?. I can live with this problem but I would rather get something that I can see more easily. Thanks for your help

I replace mine on a 99 3000. In dash unit was a standard horizon D41BD.

Checked out the Standard Horizon gauge. They don’t make gauges anymore. They’re just doing marine radios
