Default Buying a new engine

Well, I have decided on a new engine for my 98 2700 SCR. It had a 5.7 in it. I will be replacing it with a new Vortec 5.7 (still carbureted) from Crusader. I will also be installing a fresh water system on it. I just wanted to see if anyone had any last minute suggestions.

Thanks.

heck yeah....I own the 2700 SCR with 6.2ltr/B3 engine...let me tell you you have the pwr of a big block with the weight of the small block...the b3 drive allows me to dock the boat with ease....I'm not adverse at all telling someone ...if your interested in re-engining of the 2700...go with a 6.2ltr.....just an awesome package....I can go places with this boat that I didn't have the confidence in my other boat.....so...yeah..don't go with the 5.7ltr.....go with the 6.2ltr...more torque and economy (as much as it is with a boat).....

just my 2 braincells firing...
