Default Bleeding the Power Steering

Just installed new motor in my ‘98 2700. I can’t figure out how to bleed the Power Steering. Looked online and YouTube…still nothing. I need someone with knowledge of the process to explain this please.
Thanks

The system is self bleeding.

Fill the pump reservoir start the engine and turn the wheel lock to lock several times to work the air out. Then refill the reservoir

Tried that, but the wheel won’t turn more than 2”. Both directions. Already removed the coupler pin that attaches the outdrive arm to the PS actuator. Same thing. Does that mean the PS cable is bad?

Either a bad cable or actuator. Try disconnecting the cable. At the actuator to see if the wheel will turn.
