Default Bilge pump issues

2100 SR2 auto bilge did not cut on today. Went to slip and noticed boat was low in the water. Lots of water in the boat thought it was from rain. bilge ran for 30 min. Went for ride stopped for a bit turned on bilge again water. Went back to the slip and ran bilge again. Noticed there was water trickling in. I left with planning on going back by early to bilge any water and being worried I drive back to the slip that nite and noticed the bilge was running and never turned off. So the auto bilge was working. So now I'm confused as to why I had so much water and not it won't shut off. Any help will be appreciated!!!

Get the boat out of the water now. If the bilge pump is running that much you have a serious leak and the battery may run down to the point the pump will no longer run and the boat will sink.

Leak may be a bad bellows or coolant hose at the transom. When were the bellows replaced last?

Hard to understand why you would leave it in the water with a known leak? As Mike said, at some point your battery is going to die and the boat will sink.

Did you find the source of the leak? It could be a simple fix and done in time for company.

I hear you but the risk of sinking or doing other damage is not worth it. Did you look at the bellows for cracks in the folds?

Bilge pump float for sure is getting stuck with a little tap it will shut off. I will have to clean that for sure. I have not yet found the source of the leak. I will have to remove the back compartment area before I will be able to find the actual issue.
