Hello Everyone,

I’m trying to find my gear oil reservoir. It’s not around the power steering pump at front top left of engine.
This motor is heat exchanger equipped if that changes res placement but I have looked all around with no luck.
Stern drive is Alpha One Gen 2, Engine displacement is another question I’m stuck on. It’s a V8 mercury. Quick Ref Code #D829190.
Greatly appreciate any help out there.

My 93 Sea Ray didn’t have a remote gear lube reservoir. On my 97 Maxum it’s on the starboard side and I do have closed cooling.

Thanks. I noticed do have the top oil level screw/dipstick so I’m figuring I have the Alpha One Gen 2 first series before changes were made in 96 aprox. Some had internal monitors set up and some did not from what I have pulled up so far.
Haven’t drained it yet but mine should have the magnetic screw at lowest point with teflon/metal gasket.
