Default 7.4 MPI, changed circulating pump and now getting alarm

Hello, just hoping someone may have run into this glitch before.
Changed out the water circulating pump, but now I am getting an alarm as if overheat or low oil pressure?
Temp is steady 175, changed oil and filter and a healthy 80 there.

My only thought is I disconnected the oil line by the belt tensioner bracket to access the pump bolts, maybe that disturbed something or I lost an o ring or something on reassembly ?
Thanks for any ideas what to check

You can use an IR temp gun to verify engine temperatures. I would have the ECM scanned by a mechanic to read out fault codes otherwise you would just be guessing.

Yep, that's the plan next. I was thinking I knocked something loose, as the only other time I had alarm issues it was loose wire to oil pressure unit-thanks!

Default why did you change the pump?

Isn't extremely rare for these pumps to need changing? I'm having temp creep at cruise on my 5.7 merc, I have worked on everything except that pump!
