Help got a maxum 2700se with cummins mercruiser type d 4.2l 250 will not rev over 3000 rpm under load but in netural 5000 rpm when purchased in june was doing easy 24 knots now can not get above 10 have had all new fuel plus filters checked all lines changed map sensor had number 1 injector checked serviced and replaced including wiring to injector I am now running out of ideas please can any one help ?
All been anti foul in June dual prop is fine marine company I have been using is now suggesting changing harnesses and ecu at a cost of a couple of thousand i just cannot unless this can definitely be the problem
Yes it came up with number 1 injector had it removed and serviced and replaced , fault code removed still boat no different I am totally lost for any more information
