Welcome aboard

I know the newer (2000 and up) came with that engine backed by a Bravo 3. What drive are you using?

Good strong drive for that boat and engine package.

I couldn't imagine anything less than the 454hp/ Bravo1 I have in my 94' 2700scr. I really like having the extra hp for a fully loaded (fuel, water, family, and of course beverages) weekend cruise.

The 350 Mag MPI put out 300 HP

The 454 put out 310 HP

They lighter weight of the 350 smallblock gave it an excellent power to weight ratio. I think the big blocks have more torque, but a 350 mag should be great in a 2700, but probably not great with a twin setup pushing a larger aft cabin.

Good info shrew, I was not aware the 350 MPI and 454 were that close in HP.
