Default 1997 3000 scr non counter rotating outdrives

I have a 1997 3000scr twin 5.7's. I'm sure some of you have the same problem but I can not believe they would sell a boat without counter rotating outdrives. I have a really hard time parking this thing if reverse is required.

any quick tips on how to make it counter rotating without changing the whole outdrive?

What drives do you have?

What Roger asked.

If Bravo fairly easy but will need to change one prop. If Alphas then a new counter rotating one is required.

If it is a bravo 2 then the port side drive has the counter prop and at the shifter it is wired for reverse.

You will need to replace the lower half of the port drive to a counter rotating one, switch the port cable conrtol to counter rotating set up and change the prop.

Up to if it's worth the $'s

Have you tried engaging port and starboard independently when backing?
