Trolling Motor Mount

Hey guys...

I have gone through this site and have already gotten a lot of good information.
Does anyone know trolling motor that I can get for my boat or a mounting bracket to install a trolling motor?
I have a ski/fish boat (2002 Maxum 1800) http://www.maxumboats.com/brochure.asp?modelid=8454
Does Maxum make a mounting bracket?
I have talked to a couple of local places and they told me they could fabricate one. Just checking to see if anyone has mounted a trolling motor and what style you went with.

Any help would be appreciated.

You are correct. There is a quick release mount that you can purchase with a trolling motor. The problem as I understand is that the bow of my boat does not have enough of a flat mounting surface for the quick release mount to be installed. Because of this a special mounting platform has to be installed so that the quick release mounting brackets and plate can be installed. If anyone has gone down this road I would love to hear your solution.
