Does anyone have the part number or specs for the in-hull, glassed in transducer that fed the dash depth sounder?

I had to look this up a little while ago, but the result ended up being that you can't get the unit anymore, and it's not compatible with any newer units, so you have to just replace it with a different system. I left mine in the hull and put a new Garmin through-hull unit about a foot forward of it in the same area.

Understood. 18yrs the tech has changed a lot. I am asking for compatibility with the replacement dash unit. OEM unit in the dash was working fine, the display just started to turn black, so I replaced it with a new/old stock item from GreatLakesSkipper. Unit powers on, responds to the inputs for setting, but shows '--' for the depth. Was asking to rule out a mismatch in with the DS41 Head unit I installed...
