Transducer location on Maxum 1700sr
I have a Garmin Vivid 4cv fish finder that I am working on determining best location for the transducer. I am thinking to the right of the trailer rail on the transom or the other points marked in the pic. Anyone else out there do this?

Location #1 is the best location for ensuing best operation as the water in this area is best for non turbulence.

Good to know. Thank you! I think I will need to run wire up through swim deck too.

I ran my wire into the bottom of the swim platform and covered it with 3M 4200 and a clam shell cover.
