Tacho Q (1800 SR3)
My Tacho works 90% of the time .... then occasionally it blips upwards by a couple of 1000 ... sometimes 'kicking' needle from tru position to much higher position 5 or 6 times ... then settles back down.
Never any change in engine revs.
Have removed and reseated the plug on back of Tack .. and the loom plug before cable bundles disappear into conduit.
Does anybody know where Tacho signal is picked up from on engine ? ........... 4.3L carb.
Will then try connectors at that point.
If anybody has a wiring diagram for 1800SR3 .. please share
