Default Subwoofer and Amp Installation

For those who have upgraded their sound system...where did you guys install your subwoofer and amp(s). I would like to get a 10" JL subwoofer, but I'm having a little problem visualizing where I could install it.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Default Give this package a look

Tapcon, if you're not wedded to JL, give this Kenwood package a look. Installed it on my Stingray 190 and it worked great. Great deal too, $158 on Amazon. I love that the sub is open air ( no box required) and comes with an amp ready to wire up.

So, finally pulled the trigger to upgrade the speakers. Purchased 2 pairs of JL M-770's, 1 JL M10IB5 Infinite Baffle Subwoofer and JL M700/5 amplifier. When I pulled the factory speakers off, I was amazed that there were actually 2 different type of speakers. Can't wait to finish this project!

This is not as easy as I thought it would be! I am regretting not going with the grey because the white does not match the boat...oh well. Had to build a box for the subwoofer because the board would not support the subwoofer through choppy waters. So far...

Took it out on the water today to see how it performed. The sound is great, but I have a lot of noise and feedback. So I am trying to find a solution for that. Another thing, is that the speaker right next to the throttle barely leaves room for throttle movement. I may have to shave the housing down to give it a little more room.

I will post pictures tomorrow.
