Default Speaker size (1995 SR)

I am the new here, and also a new owner of a really nice 1995 Maxum 1800SR.

Anyway, not sure if it is the stock stereo, but it needs to GO!! Unless that is some weird size, it should be fairly straight forward to replace.

Does anyone know speaker size for this boat?

Thanks for any info

Do they shrink as it gets further north, or is that just 'cause it's colder? LMAO. Sorry SP I couldn't resist. I know, I know two unrelated statements.

1) It helps to know what region (not a mailing address), someone is in for info specific to a region.

2) They should be standard 6.5" speakers.

The parts catalogue only gives a part number, but not a size. I pulled a speaker and measured teh hole and looked at the rough diameter of the hole required for the replacement speakers before purchasing. I would advise getting Marine speakers. They DO make a difference. The PO of my boat replaced with auto speakers and they continually left rust streaks. when I removed them they were a ball of rust.
