Default SmartCraft Gateway - Location or Model Info

I have a 2004 Maxum 2400SE with a 5.7 Mercruiser 2 bbl. and am trying to find out if it can support the Mercury Smartcraft Gateway. I have been trying to find information but it seems a little ambiguous as far as engine dates and types. The wiring is a little tight and hidden in places and I am not sure what the port looks like or if it is covered.

My end result is to get the engine data on the MNEA200 network so my 741xs can show the data. I have been looking at the Noland analog converter but if there is a port already on the engine, and I can buy the Smartcraft, I would like use it.

The Noland is nice because you can just connect to the analog gauges but it does require calibrating everything over a laptop connection.
NoLand Engineering

If anyone has used it or can provide help would it would be appreciated.

Not being EFI based I do not believe that data is available.

I was thinking that was probably the answer. Bummer, so NoLand it is.
