Default shore power question??

hello all,
the boat i just purchased has two 30 amp receptacles. one for the main and a second for my AC. problem is that my dock power is limited to one 30 amp shore power. What to do? do i purchase a 30 amp splitter or have another 30 amp power added to the dock?

I'm new so I could be wrong but I don't think the two receptacles in the boat are seperated for house and air conditioning. The way I've been told in mine is that they both go to the same thing just help if you pull to much power....I think you can run with one as long as you don't try to fire up every electronic in the house. Could be wrong I have two outlets.

the AC system is split into 2 buss's...the buss's can be paralleled together. on your AC board on board the boat...there is a switch that allows you to align the system to operate on one 30amp circuit....check the ships system for a parallel breaker...move the b-side main breaker to allow the slide to disengage the b side breaker....and that will allow the parallel breaker to engage.....now you should have full systems ac pwr....however if you try running the stove and the microwave oven at the same time..you may pop the breakers...
my last 2 boats have had this system and we just learned to manage our power usage.....
now at dock in a marina with 50 amp avail...get a 50amp splitter to 2 ea 30amp output...that will allow you to run both a/b sides of the buss...
